About the role

As a Security Officer at PMGH, you will help maintain a safe, secure and orderly environment, assisting with access control, incident response and general safety across hospital facilities.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor hospital premises and prevent security incidents.
  • Assist patients and visitors with directions and access.
  • Respond to alarms, disturbances or emergencies.
  • Support staff during high-risk situations.
  • Maintain accurate security logs and reports.

Essential requirements

  • Experience in security or protective services.
  • Good communication and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts (day and night).
  • Good physical fitness and reliability.

Desirable

  • Experience working in hospital or public service environments.
  • Basic first-aid knowledge.
