About the role
As a Security Officer at PMGH, you will help maintain a safe, secure and orderly environment, assisting with access control, incident response and general safety across hospital facilities.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor hospital premises and prevent security incidents.
- Assist patients and visitors with directions and access.
- Respond to alarms, disturbances or emergencies.
- Support staff during high-risk situations.
- Maintain accurate security logs and reports.
Essential requirements
- Experience in security or protective services.
- Good communication and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work rotating shifts (day and night).
- Good physical fitness and reliability.
Desirable
- Experience working in hospital or public service environments.
- Basic first-aid knowledge.
